This includes:
empowering Commission staff and provider staff in the use of the Commission's Operating System (COS) and the Provider Portal by providing first level support, training, business analysis and advice in the use, development and enhancement of the system on a Commission-wide basismanaging and fostering strong positive relationships with the Commission's IT providers, on behalf of Commission staff, to ensure the provider's services are effective, timely and fit-for-purpose, and providing value-added services internally to ensure a complete IT serviceensuring new releases of COS and other Commission endorsed applications are controlled and managed throughout the application development lifecycleproviding triage on all IT Helpdesk calls to smooth the process of dealing with the Commission's IT providers; providing general IT consultancy services and guidance to staff, enabling the effective and high performing operation of the Commissioncreation, ongoing maintenance and ownership of IT policies, procedures and governanceIT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
providing advice and development of IT strategy, policies, guidelines, procedures and training materialshelp facilitate a broad range of IT requests and new/current IT product enquiries for internal stakeholders at the NDIS Commissionassist the operation of governance forums to support changes to IT landscapesupport the NDIS Commission's IT shared services relationships via cross-government forums.
