This role is based at our headquarters in the stunning Gold Coast, Broadbeach, with the flexibility to work from our project site offices in Coolangatta or Brisbane.More about this role:As the IT Applications Manager, you will join the internal dnata IT Team and be responsible for supporting the suite of applications and systems used by all dnata Catering Australia entities. You will work closely with business operational stakeholders, vendors, support partners, and technical systems administrators to ensure that applications are available and meet business requirements. This role reports directly to the IT Manager.Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all business applications are maintained, supported, secure, and up-to-date, including their integrations and data, ensuring business continuity at all times. You will triage all application technical service and enhancement requests, deciding whether to address them internally or escalate them to the support partner, including providing necessary documentation such as business requirements and business cases.In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:Become part of the IT team, maintaining and enhancing current business processes.Application vendor service delivery.Application security compliance and governance.Application management version control, upgrades and patching.Scoping and delivery of enhancements and changes.Ensure application access control according to policy and governance.Application integrations and data flows.Understand, support and document integrations.Build and maintain relationships with application vendors and support partners.Build rapport and business relationships with key stakeholders to keep abreast of critical priorities in the business environment.Represent dnata Technology as required at all working group forums and prepare/present information when requested at meetings.Support and contribute to the IT and Data technology strategy.What do you need to be successful in this role?Proven experience as an IT Application Manager.Experience with vendor engagement and service delivery.Digital technology experience and understanding of ERPs and workforce planning.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in SQL and other database management tools.Project related experience, working on projects affecting business processes, with the ability to assist in process improvements.Strong communication skills, elevated stakeholder engagement skills and able to operate independently with little supervision.Demonstrated success in delivering ongoing enhancements to systems and/or processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Commitment and patience to resolve problems/issues in a timely manner.Requires flexibility to travel interstate as may be required for national support and assistance.Flexibility to work hours to meet project requirements and implementation deadlines.What is in it for you?Competitive six figure plus salary.5 weeks Annual Leave.Be part of a close knit and dedicated team that are committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.Novated Car Lease option.About Us:We are Australia's largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
