We are looking for an IOT Associate Engineer to become a vital part of our client's Digital Engineering Team responsible for delivering control system architecture.
In this role, you will support the Team in some repetitive, deployment-related tasks mentioned below. We require from the candidates a set of technical competencies and good communication skills as in the role you will communicate with internal customers and other departments or vendors.
Key Job Responsibilities Support in delivery and deployment of key digital engineering projects. Verify OEM deliverables at manufacturing equipment during FAST and CAT against digital URS. Facilitate seamless machine integration into existing IT systems for manufacturing. Ensure affiliate readiness in terms of knowledge and infrastructure. Oversee the IIoT Gateway delivery process, from order to installation on the shop floor. Support affiliates in installation, commissioning and IOQ activities for new IIoT projects. Job Requirements : What We're Looking For : Educational Background : a university degree in Computer Science and Engineering is essential. A master's degree in Automation, Prototyping and Robotics is highly desirable. Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with machine-to-machine, machine-to-system communication, Industrial Internet of Things solution (IIOT) solutions, and Vendor Management. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written English skills with a proactive, can-do attitude with a strong desire to learn, take on new challenges and adapt the mindset to embrace a complex environment. Technical Proficiency : familiarity with OPC Unified Architecture, Computer technologies, IT and OT networks. Tools & Technologies : Experience with OPC UA tools, MQTT explorer and protocol and Grafana. Autonomy : ability to manage your own agenda with little to no supervision. Nice-to-have Skills and Experience : Process Control Expertise : a solid understanding of process control concepts. Project Management Proficiency : experience working with SCRUM and Agile methodologies. OT Cybersecurity and System Validation : experience in Operational Technology Cybersecurity and computerized system validation. Technical Tools : proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, Remote Desktop and the Microsoft 365 suite to streamline collaboration and productivity.
