This role involves analyzing, managing, and optimizing investment portfolios for their clients to achieve their financial goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of investment principles, and the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
Role responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of managed investment portfolios, including performance evaluation, risk assessment, and asset allocation. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to project investment performance and identify opportunities for optimisation. Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to align with client objectives and market conditions. Perform extensive research on market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities to inform portfolio strategies. Evaluate and select investment vehicles (e.g., equities, fixed income, alternatives) based on client's risk profiles and investment goals. Role requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA designation or progress towards it is preferred. Strong experience working with Morningstar Direct. Previous experience in working within managed accounts - multi-manager model portfolios via SMAs, MDAs, and fund of funds. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
