Position Overview:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurately managing and tracking inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits, and ensuring that all inventory data is accurately entered and maintained within the company's inventory management system.
This role is critical to ensuring stock availability, preventing stock discrepancies, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, ensuring that all products are accounted for and stored correctly.
Update inventory counts and resolve discrepancies in the system, coordinating with the inventory or warehouse manager as needed.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Enter inventory data accurately into the inventory management system.
Stock Control and Tracking: Track stock movements, including incoming and outgoing shipments, returns, and adjustments.
Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies and errors promptly.
Monitor inventory levels and notify the purchasing or inventory manager of low stock items or overstocks.
Order Processing: Assist in order picking and packing as required, ensuring that items are accurately selected and prepared for shipping.
Coordinate with receiving teams to ensure incoming stock is checked, labeled, and stored in the correct location.
Communication and Coordination: Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to maintain accurate inventory information and efficient processes.
Provide support for cycle count audits, internal audits, and physical inventory counts.
Respond to inquiries regarding inventory status, stock availability, and order tracking.
Quality Control and Reporting: Perform quality control checks to identify damaged or defective goods.
Generate inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
Assist in preparing for and participating in periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in inventory management or supply chain preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
Skills: Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift inventory items for extended periods as required.
Working Conditions: This position is primarily located in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
The role may require occasional overtime during peak seasons.
