The International Student Coordinator is a member of the Student Management team and is expected to show commitment to the implementation of the college policies and to the college priorities.DUTIES INCLUDE:Assess and respond to international student enrolment applications from the IEDOrganise and monitor Homestay accommodation and proceduresEnsure students/parents have pre-departure information prior to arrival in MelbourneCollect students from Melbourne airport and transport to homestay accommodationProvide support to students to help them adjust to study and life in AustraliaFollow Critical Incident procedures in the event of a student emergencyAssist in providing student orientation and transition from ELC to CollegeMonitor students course progress, attendance and behaviourNotify IED of changes to student enrolmentsRespond to community/overseas enquiries regarding the ISPConduct annual ISP self-assessment and student surveysMaintain the International Student page of the College websiteAttend regional Cluster meetings and ISP Professional Learning Program activitiesProvide administrative support for sub schools as directedWho May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.Conditions of EmploymentAll staff employed by the Department and schools have access to a broad range of employment conditions and working arrangements.Appointment of successful applicants will be made subject to a satisfactory pre-employment conditions check.A probationary period may apply during the first year of employment.Detailed information on all terms and conditions of employment is available on the Department's Human Resources website.
