• The contracted period for this role is 6 January 2025 – 2 February 2026.
• You must have the availability to work 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday (and occasional weekend or public holiday shifts according to business needs).

About this work area As an Interior Design Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
• Communicating and implementing your home furnishing knowledge to create and inspire home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
• Stimulating and increasing the interest in home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
• Assisting in building furniture and setting up new room-sets when required.
• Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market.
• Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas.
As an Interior Design Co-worker, you are or have: • A true passion for home furnishing and people's lives at home with a strong ability to inspire and transform living spaces.
• An understanding of how to handle tasks with a practical, hands-on mindset often utilising tools like ladders and power tools.
• A strong communicator, capable of guiding peers and influencing stakeholders to achieve design goals.
• An ability to flourish in a dynamic and creatively charged environment, working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
• • Experienced with programs such as Revit, SketchUp and Adobe CC Suite is preferred.
Having an Interior Design/Architecture qualification, or previous experience in home furnishing retail is essential.
