ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
Reporting to the Executive Manager and working closely with Councils Leadership Team, the Integrated Planning and Reporting Specialist is responsible for leading, managing and facilitating the Integrated Planning and Reporting and Business Improvement initiatives that build a culture of strategic direction, excellence and continuous improvement across Council.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive the implementation of Councils IP&R Framework, including engagement, continuous improvement, performance monitoring and community and council reporting.
Support the Executive Leadership Team and Councillors and Mayor service function as part of the General Managers Team.
Essential to this role are tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Commerce, Planning, Policy, Public Administration or related fields and/or demonstrated extensive experience in a similar function, complemented by advanced communication skills, including the ability to present with credibility, write fluently across a range of styles and to modify style and approach to optimise outcomes. High level computer literacy with the following applications – Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Project, Visio) and other relevant software are also required.
Experience within Local Government and a sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and policy in relation to Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework and experience in facilitating the planning and reporting for a multidisciplinary organisation would be advantageous in this role.
This position is offered on a term contract, full-time basis working 35 hours per week until 1 August 2025.
Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 15 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $115,121 - $129,493
per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
