About the role:
A vacancy exists in the St Vincent's Hospital GambleAware service for a highly motivated Intake and Engagement Officer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The role is the first point of contact for our service to help identify and address the caller's needs and priorities. The position will liaise with, and refer to, other health care professionals and services depending on the client's preferences, treatment and care.
With training and support, the Intake and Engagement Officer is responsible for ensuring that appropriate treatment strategies are in place in consultation with consumers of the service and that outcome/reporting measures are collected as required.

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Intake and Engagement Officer who possesses a passion for person-centred care. We welcome applications from people who are responsible for conducting assessments, counselling, care planning and brief interventions.
