We are looking for installation technicians to install, repair and maintain products sold and manufactured by Country Blinds.
You will be supplied a work van, all tools, and work mainly in the Adelaide, Hills and Regional areas. Your duties will include travelling to customers' homes or places of business, installing indoor and outdoor window furnishings, café blinds, and shade structures, as well as troubleshooting and fixing existing on-site product issues.
To be successful, you will demonstrate that you have sound knowledge of how to safely use hand tools such as a drill, impact driver, and angle grinder.
You must be able to climb ladders and occasionally work in confined spaces, have great customer service skills, and take great pride in the work that you deliver. Window furnishing installation experience along with trade qualifications are looked upon favourably but are not compulsory, as full training is provided.
Salary will be discussed in your interview and commensurate with your experience, qualifications, skills, and knowledge.
Responsibilities: Travelling to customers' homes or places of business. Installing indoor and outdoor window furnishings, café blinds, and shade structures. Running customers through operation and maintenance instructions for each product once installation is concluded. Troubleshooting technical faults with existing products. Analysing existing products to resolve installation problems and report product issues. Maintaining existing products. Cleaning up after the job is complete. Being responsible for maintaining a company supplied work vehicle and tools. A good understanding of how hand tools are operated. The ability to read plans and carry out work as specified on a job sheet. Provide superb customer service and have a great attitude. Work independently with limited supervision, as well as working and contributing to a positive team environment. Ability to climb ladders, to crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for short periods of time. Able to lift heavy objects (above 30kg). Experience to solve problems and repair products on site. #J-18808-Ljbffr
