The Delivery Management section is responsible for end-to-end ICT project delivery with full oversight of the divisions program of work, tracking progress, managing expenses and ensuring alignment with the ICT strategy.

The Information Division is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager with demonstrated experience managing multiple network and infrastructure ICT Projects with critical delivery dates.
The Infrastructure Project Manager will provide leadership and coordination across a number of ICT projects to ensure that technical infrastructure and systems deliverables are completed within approved budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
This is a highly collaborative role, and as an Infrastructure PM, you will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver high-priority projects to meet ICT strategy goals for the Division.
Part of the role will involve frequent engagement with senior executives via project boards to update and receive advice on project-related matters.
Our Project Managers are responsible for all aspects of project management including project governance, budget, scope management, resource management, sourcing, contract management, stakeholder relationship management, performance management, risk mitigation, and reporting.
This position will play a key role in leading the technical teams to deliver exceptional products that are fit for purpose and meet customer and business expectations.
In addition to leading specific projects, the Project Manager will contribute to the Delivery Management Centre of Excellence (COE) where they will collaborate with other Project and Delivery Managers in the team to identify best practices in Project Management.
They will also work to standardize project management practices, processes, and artifacts used by the team to enhance project delivery efficiency and consistency across the division.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be able to:
Manage multiple network and infrastructure ICT projects using waterfall methodology Design project implementation and resource plans, execute and manage project deliverables and costs Manage project quality, performance and resources, schedules, risks, and issues Lead the investigation and resolution of technical issues, including logging and diagnosis Project manage and coordinate the design and development of IT infrastructures within organizations Manage project finances, budgets, and forecasting Deliver evidence-based program-level and project-level reporting to senior management Conduct procurement activities, including establishing formal ICT contracts following government procurement guidelines for the supply of products or services and effectively manage these contracts to ensure vendors fulfill contractual obligations Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, standards, methods, and tools and address security and privacy requirements.
Hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
NV1 is required for this position, however, the Department will consider candidates with baseline clearance if they demonstrate exceptional experience and skills.
Qualifications and experience: Demonstrated experience delivering network and Infrastructure ICT projects using formal project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and PMBOK Tertiary qualifications in Project management (desirable) #J-18808-Ljbffr
