With a commitment to ensuring we always evolve; Scenic World strives to deliver unforgettable and world-class experiences to our visitors.We are on the look-out for an Excel-lent enthusiastic and organised, Excel and BI savvy Information Systems Analyst, to assist with the rollout of new Power BI tools across the business and who also has a passion and keen eye for collecting, analysing and reporting on data.Please note, that this role will be a 12 month contract role, based onsite at Scenic World in Katoomba 5 days per week, for the duration of the contract.Duties will include:Assist with developing and managing effective business systems to ensure access to accurate data and information for reporting purposesWork with the Information Systems Officer to facilitate the rollout of new Power BI tools across the businessAssist with compiling daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the business to enable to business to report on and analyse performance against key business metrics and targetsAssist with report preparation for peak periods and special eventsMaintain databases by entering, verifying and backing up dataProviding support to the greater Finance team as requiredTo be successful in this role, you will possess and demonstrate:Demonstrated experience in a similar Analyst roleAdvanced Excel skillsPower BI experienceDemonstrated ability to apply a systematic approach to collecting and analysing data and informationAbility to prioritise competing tasks and meet multiple deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in the tourism industry is advantageousWe would love to hear from people with a flair for numbers and strong experience in Excel and Power BI, excellent communication skills and the ability to think systematically.
