A great opportunity for an IT systems support professional looking for a challenge in a highly dynamic and rewarding environment.
Fixed Term full-time role available from now until 30 June 2022, based in Newcastle, NSW.
Salary starting from $72,418 plus superannuation and leave loading

About the Role
The Information System Support Officer will be the primary contact for providing frontline customer service, support and advice in the use of Crown Lands business applications by providing first level helpdesk support.

Responsibilities of the Information System Support Officer also include:

Investigate and resolve helpdesk matters in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor, identify, analyse and report on problems and issues logged and where possible, propose possible solutions.
Provide support in conducting user acceptance testing, delivery of training and preparation of technical and user documentation

About you
You will have experience in a range of computer applications and proven experience in problem resolution with respect to systems support is a great plus.

You will be someone who has exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide timely and accurate support to stakeholders at all levels.

You must also have a current drivers licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
About us
The Housing and Property Group within Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) oversees the management of state government assets, including the management of Crown land, the NSW Government's social housing portfolio and oversight of strategic use and disposal of government owned land. The Group also includes the Aboriginal Housing Office, the Valuer General and the Land and Housing Corporation. The Group leverages public and private sector expertise to improve place-based outcomes, providing greater access and choice of housing through initiatives such as an end-to-end housing strategy, and improving outcomes for Aboriginal communities to maximise community benefit from government owned land and property.
