As Information Officer within the Information, ICT Governance and Risk (IIG&R) team, Information and Technology Services (ITS), you will be part of a team who are championing enterprise-wide efficient and effective recordkeeping and information management practices which support program and service delivery; informed decision-making capability; and protection of the department's corporate memory.This is your opportunity to join DSDI to think ahead and act now in helping secure responsible economic development and liveable communities.As a Information Officer You Will:Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with high levels of customer service.Support the Manager of Information, ICT Governance and Risk (IIG&R) in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the way the department manages and secures its information.Contribute to ongoing improvements in the lifecycle management of work-related information, data, and records through creation, use, and retention/disposal stages by:Engaging with clients to uplift recordkeeping and information management knowledge and maturity, while seeking clarification from management.Liaising with clients to understand their information and recordkeeping issues, needs and business processes and provide best practice advice.Responding to client requests/enquiries relating to information, records management, or the use of the department's eDRMS in a timely manner.Contributing to the development, review and monitoring of information and recordkeeping management procedures, work instructions, and knowledge articles.Assisting with the development and delivery of training and awareness modules, or one-on-one information sessions, as they relate to information management and recordkeeping.Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and report any security breaches.Utilise effective self-management skills, including time management, identification and prioritisation of critical tasks, and seeking guidance when required.Contribute to other activities and work packages across IIG&R and more broadly across ITS as required to help reach deadlines, agreed outcomes and deliverables.Perform other tasks as required by the IIG&R Manager.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/584238/24Closing Date: Tuesday, 27 August 2024Occupational group: IT & TelecommunicationsSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesGovernment Administration
