Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician required in Townsville on a permanent basis.
Workfast are looking for experienced Electricians with industrial workshop experience in Townsville, QLD.
This is a permanent position.
Our client: You will be working for one of the largest industrial workshops within QLD.
Our client has been in operation for over 20 years, with their goal being the best in the world by being the safest, environmentally responsible and the most competitive.
What you will be doing: Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance.
Diagnose issues with electrical motor control systems and instruments used in process control.
Prioritise tasks in high-pressure situations.
Perform switching of high-voltage (HV) equipment as necessary.
Work collaboratively with Process Operators and other tradespeople.
Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and P&ID drawings.

What you need: Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate with post-trade experience.
Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic license from the Queensland Electrical Safety Office.
Experience in a refinery or similar heavy industry is preferred.
Strong commitment to safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work well in a team.
