Your Role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be essential in maintaining the seamless operation of our highly automated production and packaging machinery. Your role will encompass a wide array of maintenance responsibilities to uphold equipment functionality and safety.
Responsibilities Equipment Inspection and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough inspections of automated production and packaging machinery to pre-emptively identify and address issues. Utilise your skills to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults promptly, reducing downtime and enhancing productivity. Routine Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance as per the schedule to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency. Adhere strictly to established safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Repairs and Upgrades: Carry out necessary repairs and component replacements, including motors, sensors, switches, and wiring. Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements to aid in machinery and system upgrades. Electrical Systems Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of critical electrical systems such as power distribution, wiring, control panels, and lighting. Ensure all practices are in compliance with national safety codes and regulations. PLC Programming and Configuration: Engage with Allen Bradley and Omron PLCs to program, configure, and troubleshoot automation equipment, enhancing operational efficiency and reliability. Requirements Certificate III in Electrotechnology or related field. Valid Electrical Licence. Industry Exposure: Experience within the beverage, food, or GMP-related environments preferred. Mechanical & Electrical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in maintaining automated equipment. Proficient with Allen Bradley and Omron PLCs. Unrestricted Work Rights in the location. Benefits Competitive Compensation: Day Shift - $65ph / Night Shift - $84.50ph. Annual Earnings Potential: $147k+ super, based on a 3-day work week (rotating roster).
