Find a career that matters and lasts As an Indigenous Relations Officer, you'll provide vital administrative support to our Indigenous Relations Team, and support our engagement with Traditional Owner groups and First Nations stakeholders.You will also:
Coordinate logistics, budgeting, field activities and scheduling for meetings and field activities with Traditional Owner groups, service providers, and internal stakeholders. Support the team in the development of respectful relationships with First Nations People through collaborating with stakeholders and assisting with the development of initiatives and opportunities for partnerships with First Nations communities. Develop strong, service-focused relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and engagement. Monitor and provide support for invoicing and purchasing requirements and liaise with the Administrative Support team to ensure financial information is reconciled and timely responses are provided to stakeholders. Provide high level assistance and support for Indigenous Relations initiatives including liaison with Traditional Owner groups, developing documents and procedures, participate in meetings with external stakeholders and attending to actions in support of First Nations relationships and partnerships and Powerlink's Reconciliation Action Plan. Respond to internal requests for advice on Indigenous Relations including conducting searches of databases, registers, internal agreements and documents The community you will join You'll become part of a vibrant and inclusive team dedicated to fostering positive change and meaningful relationships. You'll work alongside passionate professionals who value collaboration and cultural understanding in everything they do. 
Your expertise Associate Diploma in Business or Communications or equivalent; or experience in working with First Nations People on matters relating to maintaining positive relationships. Significant experience in project, accounts, or administrative support roles within a team environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated experience in advising stakeholders on Indigenous partnership matters. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to prepare accurate records and reports. Ability to work effectively in diverse and cross-functional teams.
