Details of the offer

The Role
As an Impairment Benefits Specialist, you will be a point of expertise within GB's Workers compensation team relating to Impairment Benefits and Permanent Impairment claims.
In this highly technical role, you will complete thorough assessments of Impairment claims for injured workers, supplementary to their primary claim, with acute attention to detail and sound decision making within Workers Compensation legislative frameworks.
You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
Providing a professional and customer focused claims service for all injured workers through managing impairment claims in accordance with legislation
Acting as a technical reference point for other team members regarding impairment benefit queries
Ensuring impairment assessments are accurate and complying with relevant legislation if and when required
Attending internal and external training courses to update technical knowledge and personal development
Achieving remuneration targets as described by the WorkSafe contract

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Experience within Worker's Compensation Industry, within but not limited to, an Impairment Benefits related role, Technical Manager, Injury Management Advisor, RTWS.
Must have an eye for detail.
Completed or be willing to undertake AMA4/IBS training.
Knowledge of general business and administrative practices
Industry specific qualifications: VWA and TAC Industry Training Programs
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
PC Literate - Data Base and Microsoft Office
