The Minor Vessel Capability Life Cycle Manager (MV CLCM) program has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer Electrical.

The Role Your new role will provide you with the opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and be mentored on Engineering methodology and processes. Enabled by the support of the Engineering Manager, you will also be enrolled in our national Systems Engineering network.
Working in a friendly team to meet the needs of our customer - the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), your role involves direct engagement with peers, Australian Defence Force personnel, capability partners, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
You will be responsible for : Undertaking ILS analysis such as Maintenance Tasks (MTA), Level of Repair (LORA), Training Needs (TNA), and Spares modelling. Performing the preparation and maintenance of project ILS plans, technical data/documentation, technical data lists, maintenance support plans, and maintenance procedures. Contributing to the development and maintenance of Asset Management Policy/Framework and Asset Management Plans. Conducting ILS activities to ensure all technical, maintenance planning, training requirements, and general support documentation are followed and remain compliant. Contributing to the development of methodology, processes, and tools, including operations planning and management systems for maintenance, engineering, supply support, production, and other technical and support elements. This role will work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across the country to develop and maintain effective relationships to deliver quality outcomes. Skills, Experience and Qualifications : 6 years of experience in a Support system / ILS Engineering role. Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar, holding as a minimum and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia in the Electrical Engineering area of practice. Knowledge of ISO55000/55001 series standards desirable. Previous exposure to Defence acquisition projects desirable. Exposure to Defence Logistics Toolset desirable. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written skills. Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
