We are currently seeking experienced Intensive Care Nurses for the positions of ICU Liaison Clinical Nurse Consultant to assist the ICU and organisation to provide timely assessments, interventions and management of the deteriorating patients.
This is a senior nurse clinician role that requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to work well within a team. A focus and drive on quality improvements for the deteriorating patient is key to the role. This role provides a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Fixed term part time and permanent part time hours positions available Coordination and management of the deteriorating patient Ensure the delivery of high quality, patient focused clinical care to patients in the ICU and organisation Role Model behaviours and practices within the core values of Mercy Health Develop and maintain collaborative relationships internally with other departments and with external stakeholders to facilitate patient care and improvements Engagement, development and support of ward staff in the management of the ICU and deteriorating patients
ABOUT YOU:
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1 Minimum of 5 years ICU experience post ICU post graduate qualification Demonstrated previous experience in leadership roles Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse multidisciplinary teams
