The primary role of the ICT Manager is to support the Portfolio Performance Measurement Directorate in managing the design and delivery of the CapabilityOne (C1) System.C1 is an ICT system that manages information related to the One Defence Capability System and the Defence Integrated Investment Program.
You will exercise a considerable degree of independence whilst demonstrating a high level of technical expertise.
You will have experience providing sound decision-making and judgement to provide expert advice when prioritisation must occur and possess in-depth knowledge of the ICT business management function.You will be responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of policies and procedures relevant to your work within the function and will engage in complex to very complex problem solving and issues management.
You may coordinate and perform detailed or sensitive projects that influence strategic, political or operational outcomes for Defence.This leadership position requires people management experience, and you will be required to exercise your people management skills and knowledge to lead a high performing and cohesive team.
Your team will develop and implement work plans, set performance indicators, and review individual, team and business performance, focusing on identifying opportunities for building team capability and continuous improvement.
Together you will plan work to align with IPMB's strategic objectives and clearly communicate expected outcomes.
