Right now, we are on the search for a Hydraulic Cylinder Technician to join our team in Burnie, Tasmania .
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Service Supervisor and working on a 5 x 2 (Monday - Friday) roster in our component rebuild shop, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting and repairing hydraulic cylinders, small pumps, hydraulic motors, valves and small drive components.
Your daily responsibilities will include the following:
Set up and use cylinder bench and other tooling to disassemble, inspect & re-assemble with new parts hydraulic cylinders Report stock levels of consumables to assist in planning for future works Maintain machinery and equipment & record within William Adams systems Attend and contribute to morning CATS meetings (pre-start) daily Complete all necessary paperwork & reports relating to works completed Ensure all tooling is in good condition and fit to the task being performed ABOUT YOU
You have an excellent work ethic, the ability to handle numerous tasks and the drive and determination to learn.
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
Experience in a heavy earthmoving or automotive workshop environment Welding capability High attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Hydraulic cylinder repair and small component rebuild experience (preferred but not essential) Current forklift license (preferred but not essential) WHAT IS ON OFFER?
