About You
Good Samaritan Catholic College Hinchinbrook is seeking an enthusiasticTrade Trainerto work at our school. As a suitably qualified Trainer, you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles. You will also play a vital part in developing and implementing effective lesson plans to ensure high-quality student learning and engagement.
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:
the ability to deliver high quality, personalised training specific to the qualification
capability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students
the ability to liaise with industry representatives whilst supporting the workplace learning program
effective teaching/coaching skills
sound written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students
the ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators
a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (highly desirable).
You will have attained:
relevant industry qualifications in Human Services
Certificate III in individual Support (Ageing) or higher
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40016)
recent relevant experience in the industry.
