Job Description Lead and develop the capability and performance of the HR team (3-4 direct reports) Actively participate in the leadership of the department and organisation.Provide leadership and support to HR staff, ensuring business delivery, leave management, training, and performance reviews.Identify and action coaching and mentoring opportunities.Ensure HR functions are efficient, accurate, and legally compliant, with up-to-date policies.Offer expert advice on complex employee relations and industrial relations matters.Support and conduct performance management and manage grievances and disputes.Assist with agreement preparation, negotiations, and industrial matters.Oversee HR projects including rewards, recognition, workforce planning, change management, recruitment, onboarding, and employee wellbeing.Oversee learning and development programs, ensuring alignment with organisational needs.Act as a business partner, engaging with managers and staff to foster a positive workplace culture.Proactively manage budget and resources, identifying and addressing potential risks.Contribute to continuous improvement of services and business processes. The Successful Applicant A successful HR Team Leader should have:
