As the 2IC of People & Culture, this role is at the forefront of developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the mission of delivering exceptional care and education.
The role will build and manage a high-performing team, drive key HR initiatives, and ensure that HR practices are not only compliant but contemporary, innovative and align with the organization's strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnering: Establishing a high-performing team of Business Partners who can build trusting relationships and add value across all areas of operations. Team Building and Leadership: Including mentoring, training and coaching Business Partnering and ER / case management teams. Employee Relations and Case Management: Including establishing an ER framework, handling complex cases, as well as interpreting and applying relevant awards and supporting IR requirements. Strategic HR Projects: Overseeing the delivery of major HR projects, including remuneration reviews, performance evaluations, and a review of employment agreements and contracts. Compensation and Benefits: Leading the annual salary review process and providing strategic insights and recommendations on market trends. Change and Project Management: Supporting a number of HR change initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Commercial and Strategic Focus: Aimed at providing strategic HR support during periods of organizational change including M&A, and supporting the organization to drive and achieve commercial outcomes. Key Qualifications and Skills Success requires a seasoned People Professional with extensive experience in managing effective HR business partnering, employee relations and project/change management.
