The day-to-day responsibilities of this role cover: Volunteer Coordination – develop a strategy to recruit, retain and value our volunteers.Probity - maintain complete and accurate probity records at all times.Recruitment – liaise with operations to continuously recruit, driving a timely and efficient process to maximise and retain candidates.Onboarding – contracts, mandatory documentation, position descriptions, induction, probation review.Training and Development – develop and maintain the training calendar. Liaise with the Online Training Coordinator and coordinate other training activities.Staff Culture and Engagement – Develop a strategy around staff culture and engagement, delivering on planned activities.Performance Management – support operations leaders to undertake procedurally fair performance management processes.Maintain the HRIS – ensure the HRIS is utilised to its full capacity and maintain.Audit Preparation – ensure HR related standards are met to pass audit requirements.Award Interpretation – monitor and review pay rates, terms and conditions in accordance with interpreting the appropriate award.Policy and Procedure – develop and implement relevant HR policy and procedure in accordance with legislation.Legislation and Compliance – remain updated and advise the organisation on compliance with relevant legislation such as the FairWork Act.Organisation Chart – keep the organisation chart up to date.Coaching and Leadership Development – coach leaders in human resources and leadership.Assist with Work Health and Safety activity.Preferred skills and experience include: Formal qualifications in Human ResourcesStrong experience in a similar roleApproachable with great communication, consultation and negotiation skillsAbility to interpret legislation and awardsStrong confidentiality and privacy focusAbility to work to and meet deadlines.A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC or willingness to obtain these, and Driver's License.If this sounds like you, please apply via Seek with a cover letter and resume.
