About the Role:This position is responsible for providing a high level of human resource services related to employee relations, workplace policies and practices, performance management, discipline and termination, employment law, employment contracts, succession, workforce planning, and salary and compensation. This position links management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, and striving to resolve work-related issues.
Duties/Responsibilities include:Work with Senior Management, Branch Managers, Supervisors, and other staff to provide fundamental human resource services as required.Be responsible for the provision of professional advice to Managers and Supervisors, particularly for individual managers' departmental responsibilities.Support the end-to-end recruitment processes.Provide counselling to staff on human resources-related issues.Interpret and apply employment-related legislation, such as awards and acts.Ongoing management development and education in utilising Brandt's human resources policies and procedures.Provide advice, assistance, and direction to internal clients on various human resource issues, including HR policy and procedures, recruitment, training, staff development, performance management, organisational reviews, and equal employment opportunity.Work with the Training and Safety Advisors to coordinate the onboarding and induction program to achieve best practice new starter initiatives.Participate in policy review and development.Assist in the preparation of relevant human resources reports for management when required.In conjunction with the Human Resources Manager, contribute to and participate in achieving targets set in strategic and business plans.About you:You will be a great communicator, and your ability to build relationships will be one of your strengths. Demonstrated experience in providing high-level Human Resource advice across all levels of a multi-disciplinary organisation.
