Role Purpose Aesop are seeking an empathetic and analytical Human Resources Advisor to join us on a 12-month maternity cover operating within a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Services ANZ/Asia, you will support the People Services Team's goal of optimal service delivery through providing comprehensive, accurate and commercial HR advice to the designated client group.
You will be responsible for HR advisory tier 2 management in Zendesk i.e., policy interpretation and advice, employee relations case management, reporting and insights support, and L'Oréal HR integration support. You will also be working in partnership with the People Services Senior Manager, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence (COE) to escalate unresolved queries.
Some things you may find yourself doing End to end responsibility for all HR related data in Workday by conducting data audits as required and periodic data cleanses of Workday. Provide information to 3rd parties as required regarding employment status and salary, etc. To support and coach line managers on operational HR issues ensuring that high quality, appropriate advice is given. Deliver all agreed calendared employee lifecycle events ensuring compliance with policy and legislation are met. Maintain all employee files as legally required. Letter and contract generation for stakeholders as requested. Facilitate training modules as required across the business to upskill managers and onboard new starters. Provide reporting support to the People Services Senior Manager, HR Business Partners, and the business to support decisions making and insights. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Support in generating Workday reporting requests. Support integration related HR activities. What we are looking for A few years of experience working in a similar fast-paced role ideally within a retail environment. Possess and develop a clear understanding of all HR processes and their application as part of the employee lifecycle. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to listen and connect with the customer. Identify any concerns regarding service delivery and performance to the leadership team. Strong business acumen and commercial understanding. Good situational judgement in the context of conflict resolution. Ability to make sound decisions and pragmatically problem solve. Strong analytical skills. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Appreciation to Aesop's approach and a passion for the brand.
