Human Resource Manager

As the Human Resources Manager at North Removals, you will be pivotal in managing our workforce and supporting the operational needs of our removals business.
This role demands a candidate fluent in both Spanish and English, as communication with Spanish-speaking clients and team members is integral to daily operations.
You will lead our HR functions, drive employee engagement, ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, and manage day-to-day operations and team development, making you essential to our commitment to both employee well-being and client satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures that align with company values, industry regulations, and operational needs.Coordinate recruitment and staffing efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.Manage employee scheduling, payroll hour tracking, and weekly roster management to ensure operational efficiency.Maintain compliance with industry legislation, monitor adherence to company policies, and conduct regular reviews to improve employee performance and satisfaction.Foster positive relations with Spanish-speaking employees and clients, ensuring inclusive communication and support across all levels.Liaise with vendors and partners, prepare partnership proposals, and manage relationships to support operational needs.Facilitate and document ongoing team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions.RequirementsProven experience in human resources, operations, or management within the removals or logistics industry, minimum 2 years of experience, with a strong focus on HR management, recruitment, policy administration, operations coordination, and team management.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Tertiary qualification in administration, human resources, business management, or a related field—or equivalent experience in HR management and business operations within the removals or logistics sector.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (mandatory), with excellent communication skills for effective engagement with clients and a primarily Spanish-speaking workforce.Demonstrated expertise in developing and enforcing HR policies, managing employee relations, and coordinating operations in a client-centered, fast-paced environment.Thorough knowledge of Australian employment laws and industry-specific regulations, particularly within the removals industry.Why Join Us?Become a key contributor to our team, where your HR skills and bilingual expertise will directly support a thriving workplace culture and client satisfaction.
