We are currently seeking a highly driven and motivated individual with a strong customer service focus to join our professional HSEQ team. You will need prior experience in the volume home building industry, a keen eye for detail, and a "can do" attitude. This role will cover the Sunshine Coast region.
Duties and Responsibilities Carry out mandatory HSE inspections Conduct and document monthly meetings with Construction Teams to discuss HSE issues Implement the HSE management systems/processes in relation to building and construction where required Assist in the implementation and training of site staff in relation to HSE Provide HSE advice to Company Officers, Area Building Managers, Building Supervisors, Maintenance Officers, and Subcontractors Assess and monitor Subcontractor performance and compliance Conduct onsite Toolbox Talks with Subcontractors and their workers Represent the Company at Industry HSE Forums Liaise with state regulator about compliance programs and Non-conformance Notices Conduct Incident investigations and provide recommended corrective action plans Skills & Experience Minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety Scaffolding licence preferred Minimum 3 years' experience at a senior level in a similar role Industry exposure essential (building and construction) Excellent communication skills - ability to converse effectively with a variety of different contractors, staff and managers, and external personnel Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and computer literacy Good forward planning / programming / organisational skills Excellent professional and personal presentation Full unencumbered driver's licence With an attractive remuneration package on offer including a fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone, this is an exciting opportunity to join Coral Homes.
