Opportunities now exist for appropriately skilled people who are keen to join the Monadelphous family and grow with us in this region.We are looking for a highly motivated HSE Advisor to join our NSW Operations Team, focusing on delivering essential HSE support across multiple sites in our Hunter Valley Region.This HSE Advisor role is a permanent position based at our Mt Thorley Office.
Relocation Assistance is available if you are looking to make the Hunter Valley your new home.
Tool of Trade is also included in this position.Key Responsibilities:Provide HSE advice and support to Projects and/or Sites to resolve HSE issues and to improve HSE processes and performance.Coordinate implementation of the HSE Management System, maintain HSE registers, and prepare HSE information and dissemination to others.Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA's, permits etc.
comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.Facilitate meetings, training sessions; site inductions, toolbox topics and/or group discussions regarding HSE.Establish effective relationships with Project/Business Unit HSE and Management.What you will bring:Experience within the NSW resourcing sector highly desirable but not essential.Certificate IV qualification in OHS and/or Environmental or related area is essential.Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar is preferred.Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation, mining legislation and industry standards combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement, and successful delivery methods.Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively.A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure.Valid Australian Driver's Licence.Proof of right to work in Australia.Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we live by our promise: The safe way is the only way.We embrace the benefits of employing hardworking people from rich and varied backgrounds, so we encourage applications that contribute to our diverse workplace.A career at Monadelphous is a career with a difference.
