About the opportunity Suitable to a Darwin local or someone who is open to a relocation, the role of HSE Advisor is based on site of a major Oil and Gas project in Darwin.

Your day-to-day includes: Develop and maintain professional relationships with the site team and foster the professional image of the organization.
Survey, evaluate, investigate and gather information that will address inadequacies concerning safety, health and environmental matters.
Undertake detailed incident investigations in line with project requirements including witness statements, re-enactments, 5-Why/Taproot as appropriate, and compilation of incident reports.
Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g., safety regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
About you Diploma Qualifications in OH&S, HSEQ, Risk Management or related area is essential (Degree desirable – minimum requirement Cert IV OHS).
Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the group.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a contracting environment ideally on an oil and gas site (coatings and insulation project exposure highly advantageous).
Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is desirable.
