At Wymap People, we specialise in sourcing skilled professionals to support leading clients in Global Freight Forwarding.
We're currently seeking licensed courier drivers to join our team, based in the heart of the industrial estate in Adelaide.
About the Role: Monday to Friday Role: Enjoy a stable schedule with consistent weekday shifts.
Weekly Hours: Expect to work 30-38 hours per week, providing ample opportunity for work-life balance.
Delivery Responsibilities: Conduct designated deliveries across the Perth metropolitan area, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of freight.
Loading and Unloading: Handle loading and unloading of freight into the van, prioritizing safety and care in handling.
Safety and Security: Ensure all deliveries are managed safely and securely, adhering to company protocols and industry standards.
Customer Service: Develop and maintain a high level of customer service, representing both Wymap People and our esteemed client with professionalism and courtesy.
Multidrop Deliveries: Execute 60-70 deliveries per day, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated addresses.
Handling Diverse Freight Profile: Manage various types of freight, ranging from satchels to large boxes, including deliveries to shopping centers, multipiece shipments, and single stops with 20-30+ cartons.
Work Hours: Commence work at 7:30 am, with the expectation of returning to the station by 5:15 pm.

Route Management: Organize delivery routes independently, as the route is to be determined by the courier.
Proficiency in GPS navigation is essential.
Scanner Utilization: Use a scanner for all deliveries and pickups, with training provided to ensure proficiency.
Meeting Delivery Targets: Each run has a target for the number of deliveries and pickups to be completed on a given day, requiring efficiency and diligence.
Training and Development: Participate in training sessions conducted by experienced Trainers, including comprehensive onboarding and defensive driver training.
Vehicle Operation: Operate vehicles ranging from 1T vans to 5T Pantech trucks, with truck drivers licensed individuals required for driving the 5T Pantech.
About You: License Requirement: Hold a current MR license (HR is an advantage), demonstrating proficiency in operating commercial vehicles.
Flexible Availability: Be flexible to work Monday to Friday shifts spanning from 7 am to 6 pm, accommodating varying delivery schedules.
Experience: Ideally, possess over 6 months of experience in a similar role, showcasing your familiarity with courier operations.
Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality, essential traits in meeting delivery deadlines and maintaining client satisfaction.
