About the role We are currently recruiting for a HR Officer.
This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
Reporting to the HR Services Manager, you will be responsible for performing critical functions to accurately process a range of Human Resources (HR) support activities in line with Enterprise Agreements, employment contracts and Government legislation.
As the HR Services Officer, you will be the first point of contact to provide high level HR support across a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders, delivering advice and assistance to all employees, and supporting the HR Business Partners and line managers with operational HR and Oracle ERP related enquires.
This this fast-paced role provides a great opportunity to expand professional skills whilst focusing on continuous improvement with a strong system, people and process focus.
Key responsibilities: Provide high level and reliable first level advice, interpretation and analysis of HR policies, procedures and practices to HR Business Partners, Line managers and employees; Assist in maintaining information and data to ensure quality across current and introduced systems and ensure individual HR records are maintained in an accurate and accessible manner; Maintain a thorough understanding of the current Enterprise Agreements, HR policies and procedures and relevant Government legislation; and Demonstrate ownership by following through to ensure each enquiry is fully resolved and provide guidance on these matters to other HR Officers.
About You You will have operational and systems background in a high level and high-volume HR environment with demonstrated experience liaising with all levels of management and providing support in relation to processes with previous experience in updating and maintaining accurate records in an HR system.

Required Qualifications Certificate IV in Human Resource Management or Certificate IV in Business and/or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
