They are seeking a dedicated HR/Payroll Manager to meet the growing demands of the market.
This position will require a motivated individual who is confident in overseeing a small payroll team and being the sole HR point of contact for the company.

Your new role
As the HR/Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Payroll team and developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
You will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues while managing the recruitment and selection process.
You will need to have effective communication with a variety of people at all levels of the organisation and liaise with clients professionally.
Key Responsibilities: Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards Assist in end-to-end processing of company payroll and time and attendance Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and salaries Drive HR initiatives, including recruitment and onboarding Maintain payroll system and ensure accurate data transfers Generate reports for payments and month-end reporting Provide regular reporting on People Metrics for board reports Assist with compliance checks to meet legislative obligations Build relationships with customers and stakeholders Contribute to change projects and system improvements Maintain confidentiality at all times What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Experience in construction would be advantageous.
Additionally, you will have the following Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 3 years of payroll experience with multiple awards and EA's Human Resources qualifications Strong computer literacy, especially in spreadsheets and word processing Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels Analytical mindset and keen eye for detail Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks Self-motivated, flexible, and responsible Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment Strong learning agility and adaptability What you'll get in return This position is ideal for a hardworking, confident, and enthusiastic individual.
