Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre Cook and Phillip Park Pool Victoria Park Pool Prince Alfred Park Pool Belgravia Leisure employs around 600 diverse individuals in roles such as lifeguards, learn to swim instructors, fitness coaches, centre management, and corporate functions.
The Role
The HR Business Partner is a key role in the leadership team and works very closely with the Regional Managers and the Centre Management teams. Reporting to the Regional Manager, City of Sydney, this role is primarily responsible for overseeing the HR function across the six City of Sydney Aquatic and Leisure Centres.
Key functions for this role include representing the central HR services of Belgravia Leisure, implementing the workforce annual plan, overseeing the recruitment process, onboarding and induction, training, and maintaining policies and procedures across all six City of Sydney Aquatic and Leisure Centres.
The Core Areas Of Focus
Develop and implement the annual workforce plan Oversee the recruitment function for the contracts, ensuring a steady recruitment pipeline to meet the workforce requirements Facilitating group interviews and group inductions Managing the training and development plan across the Centres Ensure the onboarding and induction of staff is effective and provides every opportunity for them to succeed Deliver training and the new employee induction program Development of people policies Managing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the Contract This is a HR generalist role with an emphasis on ensuring processes and procedures are effective and adhered to, with lots of scope for new learning and experiences in a fast-paced organisation.
