We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a prestigious engineering and consultancy firm. This position is a full time permanent position based in beautiful offices in North Sydney.
As a HR Advisor you will drive initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, workforce engagement, and alignment with strategic goals. This role ensures smooth daily HR processes, offering expertise in employee relations, compliance, HR systems, and process improvements.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including support for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, off boarding, and other operational tasks. Coordinate daily HR functions, ensuring that all HR processes are handled accurately and smoothly. Keep HR systems and records up-to-date, ensuring accuracy of information and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Lead and support various HR projects, such as policy revisions, system upgrades, and change management initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recommend solutions to boost efficiency and the employee experience. Offer advice on HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application and providing guidance to managers and employees as needed. Collect and analyse HR data to identify trends and insights, preparing reports for management and enabling data-informed decision-making. Protect employee information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies. Partner with leadership to improve employee experiences, addressing challenges and implementing solutions that foster a positive workplace culture. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in HR operations or as an HR Generalist/HR Consultant. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS systems ELMO and data management. Problem solving / analytical skills.
