About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic Local Government team as a People & Culture Advisor. This role is ideal for a motivated HR professional with a passion for employee relations and organizational development.
The role is start ASAP and is initially contracted until the end of February 2025 and could lead to longer term opportunities. This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. The organisation offers hybrid work options which are 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.Work alongside the Business Partners to support with employee relations cases and process advice.Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.Support talent acquisition processes by working closely with the recruitment team.Contribute to various People & Culture projects, including organizational development initiatives.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.About You:
You are an experienced HR professional with a proven track record in delivering high-quality advice and services within a complex organizational environment. You will have:
HR qualification and / or previous experience in a similar role.Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.Experience in managing employee relations issues and providing sound advice to management.Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.Why Join Us?
