The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator sits within ACM's high performing People Operations team who provide first level support for all HR related queries. Day to day, this role will be responsible for coordinating a variety of HR administration activities aligned with their client group, including providing HR solutions and advice on policies and processes.
Based in either Sydney or Newcastle, this role would be a perfect opportunity for a HR graduate ready to launch into their HR career.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Administrator will be responsible for:
Providing high volume HR administration support across the employee lifecycle; from contracts of employment, employee onboarding, variation letters such as contract extensions and exit processes.
Providing HR policy, procedure and systems advice to their client group.
Liaising with Payroll, escalate and prioritise pay related requests among other workload and especially during pay runs.
Participating in a variety of HR projects.
About You
You have a relevant degree in Human Resources or related discipline or TAFE diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
Previous experience in an administration or customer service role
You have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle highly confidential information and treat employee data with discretion.
You possess good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and handle competing deadlines in a high volume environment.
You have well-developed computer skills across both Google and Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)
Previous experience in HR administration for a medium to large organisation will be highly desirable.
