Based out of North East Victoria and founded in 1977, Stribley Transport is a locally owned and operated family business, delivering nation-wide leading transportation services in the heavy haulage industry. Their fleet consists of a modern fleet of deck-widening floats and haul for a wide range of industries including mining, construction, forestry, agriculture and more.
Stribley Transport is looking for motivated, reliable, organised and experienced interstate truck drivers to join their expanding team.
Candidates must have: Multi-combination licence (preferred), minimum heavy-combination A minimum of three years' experience in long haul driving Experience with loading and unloading freight (particularly oversized) Solid driving record The ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, over varying hours Knowledge of load restraints An understanding of fatigue management (current BFM beneficial) The ability to take direction, follow instructions and work to specific timelines Be proactive, motivated and show initiative The ability to work autonomously Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) would be an advantage Please note , remote location driving and working away is an essential requirement of this position. Candidates must have the availability to work away and be away anywhere between 1 and 4 weeks at a time. Working away allowances will be paid accordingly. Stribley Transport Services offer a competitive hourly rate, a dedicated transport allocator and a new and fully maintained truck. You keep the truck with you so you can be based from home, reporting to the head office in Wangaratta.
Stribley Transport has depots located in Albury, Echuca, Maffra and Wangaratta.
This position is available for commencement after Christmas / early January.
