* Excellent computer navigation and keyboard skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written English
* You speak clearly and confidently, with a pleasant phone manner
* You have a friendly and cooperative nature.
* Not afraid to get your hands dirty as cleaning and bed making may be required to meet the needs of the business

About the job:

This is a part time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week. It's most suited to a motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual.
Training will be provided.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Answering the phones, handling calls and reservations
* Greeting guests on the phone and at reception upon check-in. Making guests feel welcome and comfortable.
* Use of reservations system
* Data entry
* Processing of payments via cash and EFTPOS and end of day balancing of tills
* Ensuring the office is stocked, and kept clean and tidy
* Handling mail
* Cleaning

We are a busy backpacker's hostel located in Glebe. We operate at full capacity all year round and looking for an all rounder to join our small team.
