**About the Role**

This role will see you working within our Home Claims department reporting to the National Building Supply Chain Manager managing the building supply chain providing high quality, efficient, fair, and professional service whilst developing strong business relationships with operational staff and service providers.

You'll be responsible for maintaining the relationships with Youi's building service providers ensuring our service providers are performing to legislative, Youi standards and its value's.

**Key responsibilities**
- Inspire and model a collaborative work environment across all of Home Claims, with the Youi Values as guiding principles.
- Effective internal and external consultation processes done in line with the Youi values to ensure clarity on performance, risk management and expected outcomes.
- Create and provide up to date reports on our service providers performance.
- Regular supplier engagement, including performance management discussions, work allocation review.
- Optimise performance of a panel of service providers in the following key areas, but not limited to:

- Cycle times of repair
- Customer satisfaction for repairs and service
- Quality of repair
- Cost of repair
- Adherence of service providers to service level agreements
- Compliance
- Complaint Handling
- Workplace Health and Safety
- To coach, mentor and develop home service providers through on-job training, support, coaching, guidance and agreed actions.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders in claims to provide a unified approach to achieving the company vision.
- Support during internal audit reviews, assurance reviews, risk register updates and control testing.
- Deliver technical training to Service Providers in areas including but not limited to:

- Workplace Health and Safety
- Construction Legislative Requirements
- Insurance Code of Practice
- Compliance

**About You**

In addition to being highly self-disciplined and motivated, you will also be well versed in the building industry.

You will also have:

- Experience working in a building relationship management role (Highly desirable)
- Trade Qualification / Building Certification and knowledge of the industry (Highly desirable)
- Assessing or loss adjusting experience will be highly regarded.
- Competent in Microsoft Office based programs and ability to produce reports.
- Affective time management skills.
- Effective verbal and strong written communication skills.
