The life of a Home Care Employee and Domestic Assistant is varied and offers flexible work hours. We have roles available for both Home Care Employee (Qualified) and (Unqualified) candidates. For those looking to build a career, there are plenty of opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job experience within the sector, whilst you study your passion for providing quality care to the elderly in your community.
To be successful in this role you will need the following: Essential Skills Effective communication skillsDemonstrate an empathic and caring approachAbility to work unsupervised and as part of a teamAccess to own fully maintained and insured vehicleAbility to plan and organise timely completion of tasksCompetent to use a smartphone and/or tablet or willingness to learnPhysical fitness including ability to undertake manual handling, carrying, standing and sitting for long periods of timeQualifications Qualified Home Care Employee - Certificate III Individual Support or equivalentDomestic Assistant roles available for those currently studying, or those who are passionate about supporting the elderly with their domestic household dutiesCurrent First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtainCurrent unrestricted Australian Driver's LicenseWhat's in it for You?
