Powertech is seeking a High Voltage Training Coordinator to develop & deliver theoretical & hands-on technical training to our large team of apprentices, electricians, technicians, and engineers.
The role is on a full-time permanent basis , based in our Murarrie Office liaising closely with and seeking direction from the Training and Development Lead (based in W.
A.
), and the Director of the Eastern Region.
The Role & Responsibilities: Assist with maintaining & creating e-training modules & standard work procedures.
Researching, analysing, and explaining information sources.
Effectively schedule and deliver theoretical and hands-on technical training to staff.
Maintain training records in employees' files and/or HR management system.
Assist with training status & progress reporting.
Assist with tender responses relating to internal training.
Align training material & programs to meet training needs.
Liaise with the Training & Development Lead and Director of the Eastern Region to set training priorities.
Training management & governance.
Assist with the development of competency assessment systems.
Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, & industry standards.
Build strong rapport with all internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to best practices & standards.
Experience & Knowledge: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a High Voltage Training Coordinator or similar role, delivering successful training outcomes.
Strong technical background in the electrical field as a High Voltage Technician.
Previous High Voltage testing experience highly regarded.
Able to effectively plan, organise & direct the completion of internal training.
Strong understanding of HSE requirements & legislation.
Strong understanding of Quality requirements & standards.
Exceptional time management & organizational skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Competent with Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
Qualifications: Electrical Trade background or Electrical Engineering.
Diploma or Cert IV Trainer/Assessor (desirable).
