Job Description
As a Chef at Hecho en Mexico, you will be responsible for creating and preparing an exciting range of traditional and contemporary Latin-inspired dishes. Your role will include:
Preparing and cooking dishes from our diverse menu with a focus on authenticity and creativity.Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in a busy kitchen environment.Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, including food prep, inventory management, and ordering.Training and mentoring junior staff, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently.Contributing new ideas and recipes to keep our menu fresh and innovative.What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on Latin cuisine.A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) is essential.A passion for food, creativity, and delivering an exceptional dining experience.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and lead by example.Why Work With Us?
