Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Description We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our rapidly expanding team in our Gunnedah Branch.

Licensed Heavy Vehicle Mechanic cert III or equivalent Motor Vehicle Tradespersons Certificate Minimum of 2 years experience in Heavy Vehicle Transport Industry HVIAS inspector an advantage but not a requirement Service & general repairs various makes & models of Trucks Trailers & stationary pumps/generators Diagnose and repair mechanical faults Diagnose and repair system faults Component change outs Component rebuilds Current Full drivers Licence (HR required) Criteria Experience in On Highway Trucks & Trailers Safety first attitude (essential) Be committed, self-motivated and resourceful Highly organised and have a sense of initiative – must be able to meet deadlines Strong Customer Service background (essential) Have vibrant personality and great customer service skills Fluent understanding of service & parts manuals Knowledge using vehicle diagnostics systems Ability to work both alone and as a team Ability to follow instructions What We Offer Long term and secure role Full time position Monday to Friday 8 hr minimum plus optional overtime Training program to further develop skills and competencies Fully equipped workshop facilities with latest equipment and processes Work with a safety and productive driven team Work for a local and reputable company Relocation allowance/Start up bonus incentive (conditions apply) Housing assistance (conditions apply) Competitive hourly rate is negotiable and based on experience Monthly Productivity bonus Position is based in Gunnedah NSW applicants to be based in the local area or willing to relocate
