Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Rushway Transport is a locally owned transport company running a small fleet of modern Kenworth and Mack trucks and associated trailers. We are seeking a fulltime heavy diesel mechanic to manage the maintenance of our fleet from our Rocklea depot.As we are accredited with the NHVR for maintenance, we will require you to take ownership of the entire fleet to ensure routine maintenance and repairs are performed to schedule, as well as maintaining a fleet paper trail. To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle/Diesel MechanicExperience with Kenworth and Cummins Strong knowledge in all facets to maintenance of road transport equipmentAbility to work to schedules with strong time management skillsA valid driver's license – MC license is highly desirableThe benefits of working for us include:Competetive hourly rateRegular overtimeModern fleetAbility to be your own boss Your application will include the following questions: Do you have a heavy vehicle driver's licence?
