About the RoleAs a member of the Big Chief Heavy Haulage transport team, you will be responsible for delivering vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery on time to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Transporting freight locally & interstate;Maintaining a commitment to safety standards and COR requirements at all times;Conducting daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment;Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue guidelines;Operating a K200 Big Cab Kenworth with Low-loader, B Triple, B Double, road train combinations;Safely transporting vehicles across the eastern states, including Vic, NSW, Qld, and SA;Utilizing your road ranger gearbox expertise for smooth and efficient driving;Demonstrating proficiency in low loader operations and vehicle transport;Applying a minimum of 2 years of interstate MC driving experience;Maintaining a good knowledge of the eastern states' road networks;Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.About YouHold a valid MC Licence for a minimum of 2 years;Possess a minimum of 2 years of interstate driving experience;Exhibit expertise with a road ranger gearbox;Demonstrate proficiency in low loader operations and vehicle transport;Familiarity with eastern states' road networks, including Vic, NSW, Qld, and SA;Experience in driving a K200 Big Cab Kenworth with various combinations;Ability to start immediately and commit to a full-time schedule;Own reliable transport for commuting;MSCI and Flinders Ports (desirable).About UsEstablished in 1995, the Northeast Auto Group is a national award-winning automotive retail and service organisation employing 600 people in South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, and Northern Territory.
