Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a passionate and experiencedHeavy Diesel Plant Mechanic. This role will be based out of our modern Select Plant Australia – Malaga Depoton a permanent, full-time basis, under the support of a collaborative and inclusive team.
If successful, you will be tasked with the maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a diverse range of civil construction machinery (including excavators, loaders, cranes, telehandlers), power generators and civil ancillary equipment, servicing our internal and external clientele.

Using your extensive diagnostic skills, commitment to quality control and safe work practices, our service workshop team will support you every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities Perform skilled diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of plant and equipment. Attend onsite maintenance and breakdown as required, working efficiently to resolve. Complete accurate service and breakdown reports. Identify and requisition parts required to carry out repairs. Comply with all company health and safety policies. Carry out high-quality work, up to and above OEM and industry requirements. Adhere to all internal and external client's site entry requirements and rules. About You To be considered for the role, you'll need to meet the minimum requirements below:
Essential:
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent) Australian Driver's Licence - Manual C Class Australian Construction Induction Card (Blue/White Card). Unrestricted Australian Working Rights Minimum 4+ years' experience as a Heavy/Civil Plant Mechanic(essential) Well-rounded diagnostics skills across hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems. Results-driven, positive attitude and the willingness to learn and develop new skills. Highly Regarded but not essential:
RIW Card Higher class of driver's licence (HR, MR, MC) Additional mechanical certifications (auto-electrics, air-conditioning, etc). Additional plant or high-risk tickets (rigging, dogging, telehandler, EWP) All candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment medical screening and a national criminal background check.
