The Position:
As part of the Roche Diagnostics Australia transformation for the future, an exciting opportunity has arisen to take a Healthcare Consulting Specialist role in the Customer Success Community. The focus of this community will be to deliver annual financial targets (total sales and operating profit), while leading a customer focused team who can think and act both short and long term; achieving a win/win for customers and RDA. This will be achieved through high customer engagement, creating exceptional customer experiences, ensuring all customer interactions are executed with precision and accuracy, and that marketing strategies and campaigns are successful within the market.
You will lead the sales execution of RDA through the provision and coordination of all commercial activities for existing and new solutions and products, management of customer and sales data, coordination of Lab IT workflow opportunities and implementation of local and international Marketing campaigns in order to achieve the overall vision and goals. For the transformation to be successful, collaboration is key, and therefore you will work hand in hand with all communities across RDA. You will specifically collaborate with Commercial Excellence, Customer and State Business Partners, Chapter Leads, Finance Business Partners, Strategy and Solutions and all Business support functions to ensure you deliver success to your community.
As the Healthcare Consulting Specialist, you will develop the healthcare consulting market through in depth analysis of market needs, identify opportunities for growth and increase the value that RDA provides to our existing and new customers. This will be achieved by promoting our IT middleware and IT workflow solutions to embed a highly connected Roche ecosystem while supporting the business through innovative approaches to improving customer’s success.
You will be responsible for the Product Management of the Workflow IT portfolio and work seamlessly with the Strategy and Solutions Community to provide product support to the broader Customer Success Community. Manage our portfolio of laboratory automation and digital diagnostic products to ensure we have the most appropriate and up to date portfolios
Your role will require outstanding communication and leadership skills and in conjunction with the Roche Healthcare Consulting squad, you will research, design, develop and implement comprehensive consultative offerings for our customers. You will work with your team to remove any road blocks that may get in the way of success and support them to be the best version of themselves every day.
You will help foster a culture of continuous feedback, accountability and passion for making a difference in patient’s lives. The customer is to be at the centre of everything you do and you will play a part in achieving the RDA vision of better outcomes for everyone in Australia, through the execution of the 1,000-day strategy.
As a member of the Customer Success Team, you will have responsibility towards supporting the success of the entire community, and are required to think and operate at a higher level.
Who You Are:

To be successful in this position you will be an experienced Sales Leader of complex sales. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• You will have extensive market knowledge with 5+ years’ experience coupled with an entrepreneurial flair, curiosity, resilience and tenacity.
• Strong and proven commercial and sales experience along with established relationships with key customer groups within workflow and IT solutions and a demonstrable track record of success.
• Demonstrated leadership experience to lead and motivate a team without direct reporting authority and proven ability to effectively direct resources within and outside of your community to achieve your goals.
• Knowledge of the market and pathology industry with a high level knowledge of our key customers values, needs, KPI’s and future goals.
• In depth knowledge of the RDA 1,000 day strategy and how we align to the customers’ goals and values.
• Extensive experience in the laboratory environment including clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, molecular diagnostics, and haematology
• A level of knowledge of process improvement disciplines (Six Sigma, LEAN, etc)
• Ability to look at the big picture and detail view of the customer to get people to think differently
• Be results driven
• Highly developed financial and commercial acumen
• Commitment and passion to succeed
• The ability to think and plan strategically
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to set and manage budgets
• Ideally be able to work in an agile way using agile methodologies
• High computer literacy and technical ability
• Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required by the position
